Purpose

   The purpose of this blog is to write articles and post pictures about Swellendam, for both locals and tourists alike. I have been living in this delightful town, with my husband, Bruce plus numerous pets, for a year and a half now.

    I will get on to stories such as "Cockerel Chaos" and "Cleanest Cock-up" just as soon as the creative juices allow...
   As a way of opening up, I spend much of my time behind my PC (my initials)... my work is Internet Marketing and I am currently at the forefront of the Mobile Revolution, offering websites designed to be seen on any mobile phone. My conservation focus for 2012 is SPCA Swellendam, Rhino Conservation, Stanford Birding Photographic Competition (Stanford Stretton's Bird Fair) and Global Warming Issues.
